SOMCPRE
A learned society created in 1983 for surgeons specializing in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.
These professionals, qualified by the Conseil National de l’Ordre des Médecins, practice all aspects of plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery in the public, military and private sectors.
SOMCPRE organizes its annual conference with PABPS. Eminent national and international speakers will address the following topics:

Dear colleagues and friends,
It is with great pleasure that I announce the 20th Congress of the Moroccan Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (SOMCPRE), in conjunction with the 15th Pan-Arab Congress (PABS 2024) on the occasion of SOMCPRE’s 40th anniversary, to be held from May 16th to 18th, 2024 in Marrakech.
The chosen themes for this year, namely rhinoplasty, nasal reconstruction, breast surgery, body contouring, regenerative medicine, and aesthetic medicine, reflect our commitment to remaining at the forefront of advances and innovative techniques in our field. These themes will be addressed through thematic roundtable discussions, lectures, free communications, symposiums, and workshops, led by renowned international and national speakers.
Beyond the scientific presentations and practical demonstrations that will punctuate our days, this congress will also be an opportunity to strengthen the bonds that unite us. I would like to express my gratitude to all those who have contributed to the organization of this significant event, as well as to all of you, dear participants, for your dedication and passion for our discipline.
Together, let us continue to push the boundaries of plastic surgery and work for the well-being of our patients.

Message from the pabps
Dear colleagues,
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome everyone attending this Arabplast.
What makes this event spectacular is the resumption of PABPS activity after a decade of dormant status.
PABPS started in May 1994 in Libya under the guidance and devotion of Dr. Mostafa Alzaidi and his longtime friend Dr.Reda Franka. Since its inaugural meeting in Libya, followed up in Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Tunisia and passing into many Arab countries in both continents of Africa and Asia.
We had a total of 14 conferences, last one in Tunisia under presidency of our dear friend Dr. Abdulaziz Alnefzi (god bless his soul) who departed his family and friends less than a year ago.
Need to mention that the PABPS secretariat was located in Libya and they had done a wonderful job ever since. But unfortunately, all political events and turmoils in the region had hurdled the annual gathering of PABPS for more than a decade.
Now here we are in the beautiful city of Marrakech resuming the long awaited PABPS meeting. A special thanks for the organizers and Moroccan Plastic Society (SOMCPRE) for hosting this event.
